Because we grow our own trees, in our fields in Great Haseley. You choose yours in the field, we cut it fresh, trim the base and help you carry it to the car. Free local delivery is available on request, when slots allow.

Can I choose my own Christmas tree in the field?

Yes. Wander the rows, find the tree you love and we’ll cut it fresh for you. We leave our trees un-netted, so you can see the full shape before we cut.

If you’d rather not walk the fields, choose from the freshly cut selection by the barn. Either way, our team will trim the base and help with the heavy lifting.

What kind of Christmas trees do you sell?

We specialise in Nordmann Firs. We choose them for their soft needles, full branches and excellent needle retention.

We grow them in our own fields in Oxfordshire, and cut them fresh for you.

What sizes of Christmas tree do you have?

Our Nordmann Firs run from 3ft to 9ft: potted trees of 3 to 4ft, trees of 5 to 6ft on a wooden block base, and freshly cut trees from 5ft to 9ft. Taller trees of 10ft and more are available on request.

Measure your ceiling before you visit. Allow roughly 1.5ft between the top of the tree and the ceiling, so there’s room for the stand and your topper. Not sure? We’re happy to help.

Do you sell potted Christmas trees?

Yes. Our potted trees, 3 to 4ft tall, are rooted Nordmann Firs in breathable pots, for porches and cosy corners.

If you plan to replant yours, give the roots space. Most spread two to three times wider than the canopy, and occasionally up to five times.

Can I get a 10ft or taller Christmas tree?

Yes. Our statement trees of 10ft and more are for taller rooms, hotel entrances and grander spaces. We have limited numbers, so they’re available on request.

Get in touch before your visit and tell us the size you have in mind. Ask us about delivery too.

Ask about a large tree

How much does a Christmas tree cost?

It depends on the size of tree you choose. Call us on 07701 027 890 or send an enquiry, and we’ll tell you.

Our customers often mention the value. Gokhan Konak wrote: “Great quality trees at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.”

Is a real Christmas tree better than an artificial one?

We think so. A fresh tree brings that unmistakable pine scent, avoids plastic waste and absorbs CO2 during its 5 to 10 years of growth.

Real trees have been part of family Christmases for over 500 years, and we think they should stay that way.

Yes. Bring the family, pull on your wellies and wander the fields to find your tree. Then take a look around the festive shop for wreaths and decorations while you’re here.

Caring for your tree

Caring for your tree.

A fresh cut. Water every day. Somewhere cool.

How do I keep a real Christmas tree fresh?

A fresh cut, water every day and somewhere cool. We trim the base at the farm. At home, make a fresh cut of 2 to 3cm across the base if needed, then stand the tree in a reservoir stand as soon as you can, with the cut end below the water.

Keep it away from radiators, fireplaces and other direct heat, and choose LED lights, which run cool.

Our tree care guide

How often should I water my Christmas tree?

Check the reservoir every day, and more often in the first few days. Keep topping it up with clean water, and never let the level fall below the base of the trunk.

How long will a real Christmas tree last?

With a fresh cut, good watering and a spot away from heat, your tree should stay lush until early January.

When should I buy my real Christmas tree?

Whenever suits you in the season. Our trees are freshly cut, so yours starts life in your home at its best, and with daily water and a cool spot it should stay lush until early January.

What should I do with my tree after Christmas?

Remove all the decorations, lights and the stand first. Then bring it back to us, and we can give it to our donkey and goats. Just ask us first. Or recycle it through your council’s drop-off points or garden waste collection.

You can also use the branches as garden mulch and wildlife shelter.
